Events in Imola 2027: the calendar of the circuit and the town

Planning a stay in Imola in 2027? Here are the main events on the calendar at the Enzo e Dino Ferrari Circuit and in the historic centre, with the dates that are already official and those still to be announced. We update this page as the organisers publish their calendars.

The calendar of events in Imola in 2027

• 9-11 April 2027: the 6 Hours of Imola, round two of the FIA WEC World Endurance Championship, with the historic cars of the Legends of Le Mans among the support races.
• 21-23 May 2027 (provisional date): the GT World Challenge Europe, with the three-hour Endurance Cup race for GT3 cars, which comes to Imola in 2027 in place of Monza.
• 2-4 July 2027: the 4 Hours of Imola, a round of the European Le Mans Series.
• Dates still to be announced: Imola di Mercoledì (literally “Imola on Wednesdays”), the summer evenings in the historic centre (four Wednesdays between June and July in 2026); the Mostra Scambio, the classic car and motorcycle swap meet, and the Historic Minardi Day with historic Formula 1 cars, both held in September in 2026.

And Formula 1? Imola is not on the 2027 calendar. For 2026, however, the circuit remains the standby venue for the last Grand Prix of the season on 6 December: you will find all the details in our guide to the Imola circuit. Open Days, track days and concerts at the circuit’s Music Park Arena, opened by the Italian singer Cesare Cremonini in June 2026, are not on the calendar yet: up-to-date dates are published on the official calendar of the circuit.

How 2026 went

• 6 Hours of Imola (19 April): victory for the number 8 Toyota of Buemi, Hartley and Hirakawa, in front of more than 92,000 spectators over the weekend.
• Cesare Cremonini (13 June): the concert that opened the circuit’s Music Park Arena.
• Imola di Mercoledì (17 June to 8 July): four evenings in the historic centre on the theme of the “Treasure Hunt”.
• 4 Hours of Imola (5 July): overall victory for the number 29 Oreca of Forestier Racing by Panis.
• Mostra Scambio (11-13 September): the 48th edition, with more than 2,000 exhibitors.
• Historic Minardi Day (19-20 September): the tenth edition, with more than 20,000 fans and 34 Formula 1 cars on track.
• Imola Classic (16-18 October): Peter Auto’s historic races, with the final of the Le Mans Classic Series.

Where to stay in Imola during the events

On race weekends Imola welcomes visitors from all over Italy and abroad, and rooms near the circuit sell out quickly: our advice is to book early. Podere Zampiera Vecchia is in Cantalupo, in the countryside of Sesto Imolese, about twenty minutes’ drive from the circuit and a few minutes from the A14 motorway exit: an organic agriturismo (a working farm with rooms) with five rooms with independent entrances, where you can come back to rest in peace and quiet after the roar of the engines.
