What cookies are

Cookies needed to run the site

Without these the site does not work properly. They are not used to identify you.

• wp-wpml_current_language: remembers which language you are reading the site in. Lasts for the session.
• PHPSESSID and the wordpress_*, wp-settings-* cookies: handle the session and, for site administrators, access to the private area.
• WooCommerce cookies (for example woocommerce_cart_hash, wp_woocommerce_session_*): keep track of the cart contents when the shop part of the site is used.

Measurement cookies

These help us understand how many people visit the site and which pages they read, so we can improve it. The data is used in aggregate form.

• _ga and _ga_02HEMQBQ2S: set by Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager. They distinguish visitors and sessions and last up to 400 days. Browsing data is kept in Google Analytics for up to 14 months.

Source attribution cookies

• the sbjs_* cookies (sbjs_first, sbjs_current, sbjs_session, sbjs_udata and similar) are set by WooCommerce and record which site or search you arrived from, so that orders can be attributed correctly. They last for the session.

Third party services on our pages

Some pages load content provided by other companies, which may in turn collect technical data such as your IP address:

• Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited), for statistics;
• Google reCAPTCHA, which protects our contact forms from automated submissions;
• Google Fonts and Google Maps, for typefaces and for the map showing how to reach us;
• Meta (Facebook), when a page loads tools connected to our social profiles.

How to manage or delete cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Instructions here: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. If you block all cookies, parts of the site may stop working properly.

To opt out of Google Analytics measurement specifically, you can install the opt-out add-on provided by Google.
